On Saturday, Feburary 15th, the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City will host a two-person show from RISK (interviewed) and Nathan Ota. As seen from their collaborative exhibitions in 2001 (LA & SF), the two reunited artists who started in the graffiti scene together over 25 years ago, have imagery that seems to fit so nicely together despite their divergent paths since high school. Expect more of Ota’s surrealistic and figurative characters superimposed over the letter-based backgrounds of RISK.
